Maruti S-Presso priced at Rs 3.69 lakh LAUNCHED in India; check out this Renault Kwid rival

The day has finally dawned for car aficonados and their wait is over! Maruti Suzuki has launched the eye-ball grabbing Maruti S Presso priced at just Rs 3.69 lakh today. At the top end, Maruti S-Presso price has been pegged at Rs 4.91 lakh. The S-Presso Mini SUV has been billed as the 'smallest and tallest' car. Since it is festival time and Diwali is around the corner, people would be looking to buy a new vehicle and they should know that the Maruti S Presso booking has already started. Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is a small car and will rival Renault Kwid, Datsun Redi-Go and even Maruti Suzuki Alto sales may be affected.

At the launch of S-Presso, the Maruti officials said that the company's first Mini SUV is in petrol variant only and right now they don't any plan to launch its CNG version. They also informed that for launching its first Mini SUV, the MSL has invested Rs 640 crore.

Elaborating upon the strength of the Maruti S-Presso SUV, MSL officials present at the launch said that its engine is of 1000 cc capacity means 1.0 liter petrol engine is installed there.

Despite being a compact car, the S-Presso comes with solid SUV presence. It has the squared wheel arches with R14 tyres and single aperture head lamp. The wide C-signature tail lamps are packaged higher-up to give a dominant presence and an instantly recognizable design character.
