Kia Seltos Bookings: Interested? Beware of fraud! First, check this warning from car maker

It was a big moment for Kia and car-lovers in India as well when the South Korean auto major on 20th June hosted the world premiere of its first car in Gurgaon – Kia Seltos. Now, after the world premiere many people are interested in buying the car but amid all this excitement and curiosity, Kia has a warning for the people who are interested in buying Seltos. 

Kia has warned that it has not released any official communication around the booking process of the upcoming Kia Seltos. Also, Kia says that there are certain fraudulent websites claiming to be the official channel for the booking process.

Moreover, Kia Motors India has advised customers to stay clear of such websites and wait for official communication.

"Dear All,

Please be informed that Kia Motors India has not released any official communication around the booking process of the upcoming Kia Seltos. This is to bring to your notice that there are certain fraudulent websites claiming to be the official channel for the booking process – Kia Motors India advises customers to stay clear of such websites and wait for the official communication

Kindly take a note, the bookings for Kia Seltos will start in July and customers  will be duly notified of the process by Kia Motors India. For further information kindly log on to http://www.kia-motors.in/"

The 1st car in India of the world’s 8th largest automaker, Kia Seltos comes equipped with smartstream, a third-generation powertrain developed for high efficiency and powerful performance. Originally slated for India, Kia Seltos will also be available in global markets from the 4th quarter of 2019.

Kia Seltos will come in petrol, turbo-petrol and diesel guise and will be offered in three automatic transmission options – IVT, (Intelligent continuously variable transmission) 7DCT, 6AT and, along with 6 Speed Manual transmission
