Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has unveiled a new brand campaign titled “Space Bhi. Mileage Bhi.” to promote its latest innovation in sustainable mobility—the Dual Cylinder CNG technology featured in the recently launched EXTER and Grand i10 NIOS Hy-CNG Duo models.
The campaign underscores Hyundai’s focus on providing customers with versatile and eco-friendly vehicle options that address the evolving needs of Indian consumers. The EXTER and Grand i10 NIOS Hy-CNG Duo offer a unique combination of enhanced luggage space and impressive fuel efficiency, designed to dispel common concerns associated with CNG vehicles.
Speaking about the campaign, Tarun Garg, Whole Time Director & Chief Operating Officer of HMIL, said, “As a brand committed to delivering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions, we are thrilled to see the growing contribution of our CNG-powered vehicles, which accounted for 13% of our total sales in September 2024. The introduction of Hy-CNG dual-cylinder technology has received very positive customer feedback, with the CNG powertrain’s contribution in the EXTER and Grand i10 NIOS rising to 25% and 20% respectively."
The Hy-CNG Duo brand campaign aims to showcase the practicality and convenience of Hyundai’s dual-cylinder CNG technology, which maximises boot space without compromising on fuel efficiency. The TV commercial (TVC) features a relatable storyline centered around a typical Indian wedding, demonstrating how the spacious interiors and ample luggage capacity of the EXTER Hy-CNG Duo make family travel more convenient.
With its catchy tagline “Space Bhi. Mileage Bhi.,” the campaign is set to resonate with a broad audience, appealing to auto enthusiasts, family-oriented buyers, and eco-conscious consumers. The multi-channel campaign will be promoted across various digital platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, and will leverage programmatic advertising to target specific customer segments.
Both the EXTER and Grand i10 NIOS Hy-CNG Duo models are powered by a 1.2-liter Bi-Fuel (Petrol with CNG) engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, delivering an ARAI-tested mileage of 27.1 km/kg for the EXTER and 26.9 km/kg for the Grand i10 NIOS. The company-fitted CNG system is strategically placed under the luggage board, optimising boot space and ensuring maximum safety and convenience for the users.
The new campaign is expected to enhance Hyundai’s position in the Indian market as a provider of reliable, high-performance, and environmentally friendly mobility solutions. With the growing demand for CNG vehicles, HMIL aims to cater to the needs of its customers while contributing to a greener future.
