US markets ended mixed amid volatility on Tuesday. The Dow closed flat after recovering 200 points from its low. While, there was a slight decline in bond yields. Apart from this, two members of the Fed indicated further rate hikes. Bank of India reported strong results. Goldman Sachs' results disappointed, due to which the stock slipped 1.5%. Netflix's results disappointed, due to which the stock remained flat. Today all eyes on Morgan Stanley and Tesla's results. Today the US Fed will release its 'Beige Book' which will reflect the economic activities of US.
On Tuesday, the BSE Sensex fell 183.74 points or 0.31 per cent to settle at 59,727.01, while NSE Nifty dipped 46.70 points or 0.26 per cent to end at 17,660.15 as 29 of its stocks declined while 21 advanced.

US market closed with gains amid volatility. The Dow closed up nearly 100 points. There was action in financial stocks due to good results. Charles Schwab rose 4% after mixed results. M&T Bank jumped 7% after better-than-expected results. Apple launched its savings account. Netflix fell 1% ahead of results.
On Monday, the BSE Sensex tanked 520.25 points or 0.86 per cent to settle at 59,910.75 and NSE Nifty fell 121.15 points or 0.68 per cent to finish at 17,706.85.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) rose 100.71 points, or 0.3 per cent, to 33,987.18; the S&P 500 (.SPX) gained 13.68 points, or 0.33 per cent, at 4,151.32; and the Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC) added 34.26 points, or 0.28 per cent, at 12,157.72.

US markets slipped despite better-than-expected inflation data. The Dow closed down 40 points. Whereas, the Nasdaq fell 0.9%. The FED warned of a recession, saying, 'The banking crisis will cause a recession this year.'
The market will digest lots of cues at its opening today, where the inflation numbers of the US and India will be a key factor and the results of TCS will be another important factor, Santosh Meena, Head of Research, Swastika Investmart said in his comment.

Mixed trade has been seen once again in the US market. The Dow closed up 100 points in a range of 200 points. The S&P 500 closed flat and the Nasdaq slipped 0.4%. Investors became cautious ahead of data, results. Fed meeting minutes to be released today. The inflation rate for March is expected to fall from 6% to 5.2%. The core inflation rate is expected to increase from 5.5% to 5.6%.
"Nifty rose for the seventh consecutive session on April 11 helped by positive global cues. Asian and European markets mostly rose on Tuesday after an Easter break with the focus now turning to the release of US inflation data later in the week," said Deepak Jasani, Head of Retail Research, HDFC Securities.

Mixed trade was seen in the US market amidst the volatility. The Dow closed up 100 points amid trading in a range of 250 points. Whereas, there was a slight decline in Nasdaq. Bank and Korea did not change the rates for the second time in a row. The speech of some Fed members will be awaited. 72% of the experts believe that the Fed will increase by 0.25% next month. Now all eyes on China's inflation data.
The benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50 have risen by around 4 per cent in the six days of gains which is the longest winning run since the eight-day rally from November 22 to December 1 last year.
US stock market news: Market participants will pay close attention to the consumer (CPI) and producer (PPI) price indexes, expected on Thursday and Friday, respectively, for a more complete picture on the extent to which inflation cooled in March.

Crude oil reached to touch 1 month-high. Brent jumped 6% to near $85. Saudi Arabia and other OPEC+ oil producers announced further oil output cuts of around 1.16 million barrels per day.
