Instagram is rolling out a new live location sharing feature, allowing users to share their real-time location with friends and family. This feature can be activated in direct messages, enabling a continuous live location update for a set period of time. Users can control who sees their location and for how long, providing greater flexibility in privacy settings. This addition comes as part of Instagram's broader push to enhance social connections and offer more interactive features for its user base. To activate the feature, simply select the location sharing option in a chat and choose the duration.
