HCL Tech Dividend 2024: Tech major announces 600% interim dividend - Check record date, payment date and other details

HCL Tech Dividend 2024, HCL Tech Dividend Record Date: The board of directors of HCL Tech on Monday declared an interim dividend of Rs 12 or 600 per cent per equity share with a face value of Rs 2 for the Financial Year 2024-25.

"The Board of Directors has declared an Interim Dividend of Rs. 12 /- per equity share of Rs. 2/- each of the Company for the Financial Year 2024-25," the company said in an exchange filing.

The company has also informed exchanges that it has fixed October 22, 2024 as the record date for this corporate action. 

A record date is important as it helps the company identify the number of eligible shareholders for a particular corporate action.

HCL Tech Dividend Payment Date

According to the exchange filing, the dividend amount will be paid to eligible shareholders on October 30, 2024.

"The Record date of October 22, 2024 fixed for the payment of the aforesaid interim dividend has been confirmed by the Board of Directors. The payment date of the said interim dividend shall be October 30, 2024," the filing reads.

HCL Tech Share Price 

The counter ended the session at Rs 1856 on the BSE. Earlier, the counter opened in green at Rs 1849.95 against the previous close of Rs 1839.55. The counter gained further to touch the high of Rs 1864.

The shares of the software company have given a positive return of around 47.85 per cent in one year and around 85 per cent in two years. 

Meanwhile, benchmark BSE Sensex jumped nearly 592 points while Nifty reclaimed the 25,000 level on Monday following gains in IT and banking shares amid a firm trend in global markets.

The 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 591.69 points or 0.73 per cent to close at 81,973.05. During the day, it surged 690.81 points or 0.84 per cent to hit a high of 82,072.17.

From the Sensex pack, Tech Mahindra, HDFC Bank, Larsen & Toubro, ITC, Infosys, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Titan and HCL Technologies were among the gainers.
