Nissan launches Magnite facelift at Rs 5.99 lakh; here is all that we know

Nissan Motor India has launched the new Nissan Magnite at an introductory price of Rs 5.99 lakh. The refreshed version of the popular compact SUV features bold aesthetics, advanced technology, and enhanced safety, setting new standards in the segment.

The Magnite, which debuted in December 2020, has already surpassed sales of 150,000 units, making a strong impact in both Indian and international markets. As part of Nissan’s "Make-in-India, Make-for-the-World" initiative, the Magnite's export footprint has expanded to over 65 countries, including new left-hand drive markets.

Speaking at the launch, Frank Torres, Divisional Vice President of the AMIEO Region Business Transformation & President-Nissan India Operations, emphasised India’s role in Nissan’s global strategy. "India has a critical role in our global strategy, and we are glad to roll out the Magnite from our Chennai facility to more markets across the globe," Torres said.

The new Magnite boasts a more robust exterior, featuring sleek LED headlamps, a new skid plate, a bold grille, and R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels. Inside, it offers a premium experience with leatherette seat upholstery, a 360-degree leather pack, and best-in-class storage and comfort features.

Nissan has equipped the Magnite with over 20 first-in-segment features, including Heat Guard Tech, ambient lighting, and a new smart key with remote engine start. It also offers advanced safety features like six airbags, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Traction Control, and a 360-degree Around View Monitor.

Powered by the efficient HRA0 1.0-litre turbo engine, the Magnite delivers 20 kmpl and comes with manual and CVT transmission options. A naturally aspirated B4D 1.0-litre engine with manual and EZ-Shift options is also available.
