Now, in the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, show host Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he too has lent support to Kanta Prasad by sending a sum of Rs 5.5 lakh. Amitabh Bachchan revealed this while chatting with Raveena Tandon, who was the guest on KBC.

While talking to Raveena Tandon, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he sent Rs 5.5 lakh to Kanta Prasad personally through one of his aides. Responding to Big B's revelation, Raveena Tandon said that Kanta Prasad has now opened a restaurant and such support from all quarters has changed Prasad's life for all the good reasons.

During lockdown, YouTuber Gaurav Vassan had made a video of Kanta Prasad eatery and posted on YouTube with Title 'Baba Ka Dhaba.' In that video, Vassan appealed to the viewers to support the poor couple who were under severe financial stress during the lockdown. In that video, Kanta Prasad had said that while running his dhaba in South Delhi's Malviya Nagar, he was unable to earn even Rs 100 a day. Once uploaded, the video became an overnight hit and Baba Ka Dhaba became a famous stop for the food lovers in the region too. In fact, a large number of people gave monetary support to Prasad.

However, later on Prasad alleged Vassan had misappropriated the money and lodged and FIR as well.

However, things have taken a U-turn since then and with all the attention and helping hands like those of Amitabh Bachchan, the couple is expected to do well.
