Ace shuttler PV Sindhu created history today by becoming the first Indian woman to win back to back medals in two Olympics. Sindhu wins bronze medal at Tokyo Olympics, beating China's He Bing Jao 21-13 21-15 in third-place playoff.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted to congratulated Sindhu. "We are all elated by the stellar performance by @Pvsindhu1. Congratulations to her on winning the Bronze at @Tokyo2020. She is India’s pride and one of our most outstanding Olympians," the PM said in his tweet.

With this feat, she is the second Indian sportsperson to win two medals at Olympics. This feat has been achieved by wrestler Sushil Kumar.
