As many as 34 people including Hrithik Roshans former wife Sussanne Khan, Indian cricketer Suresh Raina and singer Guru Randhawa were allegedly booked by police after a raid at a posh club near the Mumbai International Airport for going against the government rules on Covid 19 and violating the social distancing norms. The ones booked in the raid at the Dragonfly Experience Club in the area near the International Airport included 13 women and seven staffers of the club as revealed by the police.

Sussanne Khan has reacted to the reports about the events of the day and has issued a clarification. In fact, actor Hrithik Roshan's former wife and well-known interior designer Sussanne Khan has put an end to all the rumours and reports hinting at her arrest in a police raid. Sussanne Khan took to her Instagram account to issue a statement.

Statement released by Suresh Raina's management team said the 34-year old was not aware of the local timings and protocols at the time of the incident. "Suresh was in Mumbai for a shoot which extended to late hours and was invited by a friend for a quick dinner post the same prior to him taking his flight back to Delhi. He was not aware of the local timings and protocols," said the statement.
"Once pointed out, he (Raina) immediately complied with the procedures laid out by the authorities and regrets the unfortunate and unintentional incident.
"He (Raina) always holds rules and laws laid down by governing bodies with the highest regard and will continue to do so in the future as well," it added.
They were booked under sections 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 269 (whoever unlawfully or negligently does any act which is, and which he knows or has reason to believe to be, likely to spread the infection of any disease dangerous to life), and 34(Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of IPC, police said.

Action has been initiated against 34 people, out of which 19 were from Delhi and Punjab, including some celebrities #NewNormal,” the Mumbai Police Tweeted.
The raid was actually conducted when the police got to know that the Club's Establishment remained open beyond the permissible time limit and that they did not adhere to the COVID Prevention Norms.
