Vijay-starrer Master RELEASES on Amazon Prime Video! Check latest updates

Master Movie Release: After a successful release on the silver screen on January 13th, Thalapathy Vijay and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathy starrer Master movie has been released on Amazon Prime Video. As per the Film's team Lokesh Kangaraj directed movie became one of the highest grossing movies globally in its opening weekend. So, Master getting released on the OTP is surprising for the movie goers and critics.

Sharing his views on the Master release on Amazon Prime Video, Vijay Sethupathi said in a recent statement, "With the film’s global digital release on Amazon Prime Video, we are hoping to reach a wider audience that’s been at home, and reach regions that otherwise wouldn’t have been possible.”

While sharing his views on why he chose Master, Vijay Sethupathi told PTI, "Whenever I work with senior actors, I go there like a student because I want to learn. I am never like ‘I have done so many films and I have so much experience’. He (Vijay) has been in the industry for more than 25 years. His fan base is massive and I want to learn from him, from his energy. That’s why I also worked with Rajini sir and Chiranjeevi sir.”

After the successful release of Master movie and probability to mint more money from the theatre lovers, film maker's decision to release Master on Amazon Prime Video or OTP has not gone down well among the theatre owners. They are feeling betrayed by the film makers. They are of the opinion that it's completely the film producer's choice on which date and time they want to release their flick on what platform but there should be some transparency in their planning so that all stakeholder should get benefit of that.

Produced and distributed by 7 Screens, "Master" revolves around a professor (Thalapathy) who tries to reform a juvenile school system, where he clashes with a gangster (Sethupathy). Apart from Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, Master also stars Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Gouri Kishan, Andrea Jeremiah and Antony Varghese.
