Revealed! Miss World Manushi Chhillar's debut film Prithviraj starring Akshay Kumar release date

Debutant Manushi Chhillar's 'Prithviraj' is slated for Diwali release this year. This is the first time since the release of Deepika Padukone's 'Om Shanti Om', a debutant is getting such a huge release. In 'Prithviraj', the Miss World winner has been casted opposite Akshay Kumar and the film will be produced by YRF as per a report by bollywoodlife.com. There is more than one similarity between Manushi Chhillar and Deepika Padukone than the Diwali release. Like Manushi, Deepika too was a model who turned actress.

When asked about the parallels between them, Manushi said that she can only consider herself to be fortunate to get a dream release during Diwali for his debut film . She also complimented Deepika by saying that the Om Shanti Om actress is someone whom many girls look up to and seek inspiration from.

The 23-year-old beauty queen who won the Miss World crown for India, 17 years after Priyanka Chopra, recounted that she has been very passionate about her debut film and is eager to find out how the audience will react to her debut film. She is hopeful that her film will do well and she will be appreciated for her performance by the audience.

Chhillar also said that she was grateful to YRF for getting this launch.
