Netrikann RELEASED! WATCH Nayanthara starrer movie on Disney+ Hotstar- Details here

Nayanthara's most awaited film Netrikann has released on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 12:15 pm.

The film is directed by Milind Rau and is a psychological thriller. Apart from Tamil, the film will also release in multiple languages including Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Produced by Vignesh Shivan under the banner of Rowdy Picture, Netrikann was earlier scheduled to release in theatres however, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the makers of the film decided to release it on the OTT platform. The star cast of the film include Nayanthara, Ajmal Ameer, Manikandan and Sharan Shakti.

In "Netrikann", Nayanthara is playing a visually-challenged woman who unravels a world beyond what meets the eye, in her quest for justice. The film is reportedly an official remake of 2011 South Korean movie "Blind" as per a report by PTI.

"The film is centered around a unique and resilient woman, portrayed by Nayanthara with such elan. As a visually impaired woman, she uses her senses to the best of her abilities to track down a serial killer and uncover hidden truths. The film is unconventional and thrilling - audiences who enjoy bold content will love Netrikann," producer Vignesh Shivan said in a release, as per a report by PTI.

Nayanthara, referred as lady superstar of South cinema, is famous for films like "Aram", "Kolamavu Kokila", "Sri Rama Rajyam" and "Imaikkaa Nodigal".
