Big Step in Digital! Zee Media launches 4 regional news channels in southern states in 4 languages
Zee Media has 14 news channels in 6 different languages.
Zee Media: Zee Media, one of the largest media networks in the country, is expanding. Today 4 new digital news channels are being launched in the southern part of the country. Zee Media has brought digital news channels in 4 major languages of South India. This includes Zee Kannada News, Zee Tamil News, Zee Telugu News, and Zee Malayalam News. Zee Media, Founder, Chairman and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Subhash Chandra will launch these channels.
Broadcast will start from today
Zee Media is launching a digital TV channel for the first time. The broadcast of these channels of Zee Media will start from 25th January i.e. today. The digital TV of Zee Telugu News as a platform for the first Telugu states will be launched in Hyderabad, where the entire team is gearing up for the launch of the channel. On January 25, a digital channel named Zee Kannada News will be launched in Bengaluru for the Kannada audience.

Dr. Subhash Chandra said on this occasion that the purpose behind launching these channels is to reach every southern home and connect with them in their own language. The purpose of this is to bring news not only from the country and the world but also from every corner of their states. Being a digital channel, the range and diversity of content will be immense. People in the south use digital a lot just for news. So it has to be the number 1 choice of the channel in each of those states.
Digital channels will be in live TV format
Another language of the southern states is Tamil. Zee Media is already popular in Tamil. The broadcast of digital TV under the name 'Zee Tamil News' will also start from January 25. Keeping in mind the Malayalam audience, Zee Media is starting a digital TV named 'Zee Malayalam News'. These will be live TV formats, which will be embedded on the respective websites. Automatically these channels will also be available on YouTube and OTT platforms.
