UK PM Rishi Sunak and wife Akshata Murty pay tribute to Indias culture and heritage at Akshardham Temple
UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who is attending the ongoing G-20 Summit in New Delhi, paid a visit to Akshardam temple in the national capital September 10. Sunak along with his wife Akshata Murthy visited the temple at 6:45 am before joining world leaders to pay tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat. The British-Indian PM, who is a practising Hindu, offered prayers and performed rituals during the morning visit. The couple was also given an overview of the Akshardham temple, spanning 100 acres.
