China has started imposing economic sanctions on Taiwan. China has suspended the import of citrus fruits and some fish products from Taiwan and the export of natural sand to the island, Chinese authorities said Wednesday. China has also started maneuvers on the Taiwan border. Apart from this, China imposed sanctions on 2 institutions of Taiwan. China is upset over the visit of US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan, has summoned the US ambassador and expressed strong protest over the matter.
