TIME Magazine 100 Most Influential People: TIME on Wednesday has unveiled the list of 100 most influential people of 2021. Along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi from India, the list also includes West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Serum Institute of India CEO Adar Poonawalla.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee have been named among the world's 100 most influential people of 2021 by TIME magazine. Both these politicians have been included under the 'Leaders' category. Also, Serum Institute of India CEO Adar Poonawalla who has also been included in the list finds himself under the 'Pioneers' category. Source: PTI

Co-founder of the Taliban Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar has also been included in the list. The Time profile describes the Taliban co-founder Baradar as a "quiet, secretive man who rarely gives public statements or interviews." Baradar's profile further says, "Baradar nonetheless represents a more moderate current within the Taliban, the one that will be thrust into the limelight to win Western support and desperately needed financial aid."
