The only surprise is that she decided to return all the money. the 35-year-old became a millionaire for a day. However, it wasn't a Christmas miracle but a clerical error by her bank. According to Daily Mail, the woman found extra money worth around $37 million in her account while checking the balance. At first, she thought someone has transferred the money as a gift and started planning to utilize it. She wanted to donate some money and wanted to invest in real estate. But ,she wasn't aware that she is chasing a pipe dream! She decided to call her husband, Brian, to give this good news but her husband suspected it to be a scam.
The report said that Legacy Texas, the bank apologized to her husband and also asked the bank manager to send an explanation in writing. The bank took the money back. Bank explained that the money was transferred to their account because of a 'manual entry error' .On December 10th, One of their client made a currency deposit into her account, and due to exchange rates fluctuations, foreign currency transactions was manually entered in their system through the back office.The bank also said that even if Balloon had not noticed the error, it would have eventually corrected or deducted from their account.
