Warren Buffet enters this ELITE $100 billion wealth club, comes in as 5th in world's richest men's list

US investor and business tycoon is the newest entrant to the $100 billion club. Warren, also known as the Oracle of Omaha, has become the fifth member of this elite club. Warren Buffett on Wednesday joined the small circle of executives who are worth more than $100 billion, which also includes Amazon Chief Jeff Bezos, Tesla Founder CEO Elon Musk, French Billionaire Bernard Arnault and Bill Gates, as per a report published by Forbes magazine. 

Warren Buffett, the 90-year-old is the chairman of investment firm Berkshire Hathaway, has seen teh company's share price reaching a record level, taking his wealth beyond the $100 billion mark.

This is the first time that Warren Buffett net worth has crossed the USD 100 billion threshold. 

Berkshire Hathaway conglomerate owns more than 60 companies, including US insurance agency Geico and battery maker Duracell, as per this report by Forbes magazine. 

Buffett is philanthropist business tycoon who has donated more than USD 41 billion, mainly to the Gates Foundation and his children's foundations, Forbes said. 

In 2010, Buffett and Gates launched the 'Giving Pledge', which called on billionaires to commit to giving at least half of their wealth to charitable organisations. 

According to Forbes' real-time billionaire rankings, only four other executives have a higher net worth than Buffett:

Amazon Founder Bezos with a wealth of USD 179.6 billion is the richest man in the world. He is followed by Tesla CEO Elon Musk with USD 165.1 billion wealth. Next is LVMH group director Bernard Arnault with a fortune of USD158.5 billion. Microsoft cofounder and philanthropist Bill Gates is the fourth richest man with a wealth of USD 125.6 billion. 

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is in sixth place, with an estimated fortune of USD 96.7 billion.
