No substitute for Russian crude
Musk further added that Tesla will suffer if the world increases oil and gas production in the midst of the Russo-Ukraine war, but that sustainable energy may not prove to be an immediate alternative to Russian oil and gas exports.

Why is Russian oil necessary?

Russia produces 10 million barrels a day, of which it supplies 50 percent to other countries. Russia gives 50 percent of this supply only to Europe.
