Yes, you read that right! Rs 65 lakh is what this one-litre water bottle is priced at! Shockingly, this is very much true. And what is more, it is going to come to India very soon. The Beverly Hills Drink Company of USA is introducing their luxury drinking water series to the Indian markets and it get in sync with its pricey water, even the name is different from the others seen in India - it called 'Beverly Hills 9OH2O'.
Well, to justify the price somewhat, let us tell you that the bottle has been designed by a jeweller! Yes, a renowned jeweller at that. Of course, the Rs 65 lakh price tag had to be justified a bit more and the Diamond Edition of the Luxury Collection of Beverly Hills 9OH2O features a white gold cap set with over 600 G/VS white diamonds and over 250 black diamonds on each bottle.
Wait! There is more! Every bottle will be available in a custom secured presentation case together with four engraved Baccarat crystal tumblers.
Lest you think that the ornamentation is what they are charging for, now we come to the water part. The bottle contains spring water from 5,000 feet up in the pristine Southern California Mountains. Well, in California, they have presumably, nectar on tap.
What is so great about the water? The water is naturally alkaline, electrolyte-rich, and high in healthy minerals according to the company. Nectar, did we say earlier? Surely, nectar is made of this.
For the not so uber-rich, the company also has sub-products that range from Rs 800-Rs 1000 a litre.
