Global IT spending likely to grow 1.4% to $3.5 trillion in 2017: Gartner
Gartner on Monday said the global IT spending is projected to grow 1.4% to $3.5 trillion in 2017 on account of rise in US dollar.

4.The IT services market is projected to grow 2.3% in 2017 as compared to 3.6% in 2016
Global IT spending is projected to grow 1.4% to $3.5 trillion in 2017 on account of rise in US dollar, according to information technology research and advisory company Gartner.
"The strong US dollar has cut $67 billion out of our 2017 IT spending forecast," Gartner's research vice president John-David Lovelock, said in a press release on Monday.
The overall worldwide IT spending growth rose 0.4% to $3.4 trillion in 2016.

It has predicted the data center system segment to grow 0.3% to $171 billion in 2017 from the negative growth of 0.1% to $171 billion in 2016. It has said that the segment is experiencing a slowdown in the server market.
