NPS is a retirement scheme, where one can contribute once in a financial year or monthly from the age of 18 years to 75 years. It has Tier I and Tier II accounts.
What is NPS?
In EPF, the employee and the employer contribute monthly to the employee's EPF account. The employer's contribution also goes to the employee's pension account (EPS).
If you get a 12 per cent return, it will be Rs 4,41,23,923.
Since EPF provides 8.25 per cent interest, a Rs 12,500 monthly contribution for 30 years will give you Rs 1,92,59,490.07 as the retirement corpus.
