India and the European Bloc EFTA signed a free trade agreement.

European Free Trade Association (EFTA) members are Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.

Indian customers will now get access to high-quality Swiss products such as watches, chocolates, biscuits, and clocks at lower prices.

Wines priced between USD 5 and less than USD 15 will see a duty reduction.

Items such as smartphones, olives, avocados, apricots, coffee, capsules, mate, hop cones, caramel, chocolate, products, and medical equipment (most) would see duty elimination in 10 years, as per the agreement.
