Bajaj Auto, a leading automobile company, launched the world's first compressed natural gas (CNG) fueled two-wheeler bike, 'Freedom 125', on Friday, July 5, 2024.
This bike was launched by Minister Nitin Gadkari and company CEO Rajiv Bajaj.
Here are the all features of the bike:
It has fully digital speedometer that includes Bluetooth connectivity for call alerts with caller ID, missed call notifications, and a battery life indicator.
The two-wheeler is available in three models and five color variants: Caribbean Blue, Ebony Black, Cyber White, Racing Red, and Pewter Grey.
The three models of Freedom 125 NG04 are Disc LED, Drum LED, and NG04 Drum.
These three models have a 12.5-liter or 2-kg capacity CNG gas tank.
While the petrol tank has a 2-liter capacity, intended for auxiliary use only, according to the company.
The bike has a speed of 90.5 km/h in CNG mode, which increases to 93.4 km/h when using petrol.
The bike can cover a range of 200 km in CNG mode and 130 km in petrol mode, according to Bajaj Auto
The booking of the bike opened on July 5, 2024.
The bike was launched at an ex-showroom price range of Rs 90,000 (Drum), Rs 1,05,000 (Drum LED), and Rs 1,10,000 (Disc LED).
