The Indian markets ended with nearly a half per cent cut on Wednesday as soaring crude oil prices and Russia-Ukraine war continue to weigh on the domestic market. The broader Nifty50 dropped 0.4% to end below 17,250, while the Sensex shed more than 300 points to close aboe 57,600. Outperforming benchmarks, Nifty midcap settled with over 0.5% gains Auto, banking and realty stocks declined the most, while some buying interest was seen in metal, pharma and oi & gas sectors.
