SEA Demands Government Intervention As Mustard Prices Drop Below MSP

Government agencies may soon increase the procurement of mustard. This time government procurement can start ahead of schedule. Not only this, the government can also increase the daily purchase limit. Orders on this can be issued today itself. Significantly, the Solvent Extractors' Association (SEA) of India, the main body of edible oil organizations, had demanded intervention from the government when the price of mustard fell below the Minimum Support Price (MSP).
