Rupee vs Dollar: INR settles above 82-mark for the first time ever

Rupee on Oct 7 fell 15 paise to close at an all-time low of 82.32 (provisional) against US dollar as a firm American currency and risk-averse sentiment among investors weighed on the local unit.
