One Year Since IPO, LIC Share Has Fallen 40% From Listing Price

A year after Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) listed its shares on the stock exchanges, shares of the country's biggest insurer are still quoting at 40 per cent discount to the initial public offering (IPO) price of Rs 949 per share. LIC shares closed at Rs 567.40 on the BSE on Tuesday.
