Money Guru: What is e-Dispute Resolution Scheme? How to get freedom from penalty and litigation

The Income Tax Department has taken a big step to provide relief to small taxpayers and save them from unnecessary legal litigation. The Income Tax Department has brought an e-dispute resolution scheme for this, which was announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Budget 2021. Only those taxpayers whose taxable income is less than Rs 50 lakh can take advantage of this scheme.
