It is believed that the government can fix the export limit of 10 million tonnes of sugar this season. Last year, 71.91 lakh tonnes of sugar was exported. Sugar Marketing Year runs from October to September. To stop the rise in sugar prices in the country, the government will now impose limits on sugar exports.
