Commodities Live: Hoarding of edible oil caught at D Mart in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, Watch this special report

Oil hoarding was caught in Ujjain's D Mart. In the investigation, the team has found stock of oil about three times more than the fixed limit at D Mart. 67.79 quintals of oil have been seized in the case. As per District supply officer, the stock limit of oil is maximum 30 quintals. In contrast, stock of 97.79 quintals of oil was found on the spot. The market value of the seized oil is about 9 lakh 89 thousand rupees. According to the control order, the display of its price list board was also not found on the spot. On which a case was registered against the management of D Mart in section 3/7 under the Essential Commodities Act for depositing oil more than the prescribed limit on the stock of oil.
