Commodities Live: BIS Seizes Spuriously Hallmarked Gold Worth Over Rs 1.5 Crores In Raids Across Maharashtra
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) continues to crack down on the sale of fake hallmarking jewellery. The raids were carried out simultaneously at six cities including Mumbai, Thane, Pune and Nagpur. In this raid, BIS has seized 2.75 kg of fake hallmarking jewelry worth Rs 1.5 crore.
