Budget 2024: Boost for Medical Education, Cervical Cancer Prevention, Child Health

Budget 2024: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced several healthcare initiatives in the Interim Budget 2024-2025, including plans to establish more medical colleges, encourage cervical cancer vaccination for girls, and integrate various maternal and child health schemes. The budget also proposes to introduce the U-WIN platform for managing immunization and expand healthcare coverage under Ayushman Bharat to ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and helpers.
