Water Crisis: Modi 2.0 Government may levy water cess on petrol, diesel in budget 2019

To contain the water crisis rising to an alarming level, the Narendra Modi government is seriously thinking and in this line they are planning to impose water cess on petrol and diesel in Budget 2019 as petroleum products are out of the GST net and hence these are the items on which it can levy cess.
