Rural Development Ministry
In the 2024-25 pre-election Budget, FM Sitharaman allocated Rs 1.77 lakh crore to the rural development ministry, marking a 12 per cent rise from the previous year's budget of Rs 1.57 lakh crore. Women and Child Development Ministry
The Women and Child Development (WCD) Ministry (WCD) has been allocated Rs 26,000 crore in 2024-25, i.e. - an increase of 2.52 per cent from the previous budget. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has been allocated a total of Rs 22,154 crore for the fiscal 2024-25 as against last year's outlay of Rs 18,050 crore.
