Allocation of Rs 10 crore was made for making of warehouses for Electronic voting in India (EVM) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) storage.

Under irrigation department, the government allots Rs 40 crore for making dams.
Making Uttarakhand an attractive investing spot, the government has decided an arrangement of investment summit, for which they will allocate Rs 25 crore.
The low-class citizens were given priority during the Uttarakhand Budget FY19, as the government will be launching proper LPG connection, electricity facitlity and insurance to them. Also insurance for the head of the family who come under poverty line over Rs 11.37 lakh crore has been alotted.
Under many reforms, the Uttarakhand government also decided to increase institutional child birth up to 90% this fiscal.
Health was also taken care during the announcement of Uttarakhand Budget FY19, as the government there plans to build trauma centre, blood bank and ICU in all 13 districts of the state.

While presenting budget FY19, the Uttrakhand government stated that, for fiscal year 2018 - 19, a budget allocation of Rs 45,585 crore has been fixed - which is higher by 14.08% from previous year of FY18.
Uttarakhand Budget 2017-18 key highlights:
Urban Development: Rs 591 crore was alloted for urban infrastructure development - higher compared to Rs 350 crore in previous year – a straight 68% increase.Healthcare: The state government sanctioned Rs 1871 crore (34% increase as compared to 2016-17) for improving healthcare in the state.
Education: About Rs. 6787 crore (17% increase as compared to 2016-17) was allotted for improving education in the state.
Drinking Water: The health of citizens were taken care, as the budget provided Rs 844 crore for potable water schemes in the state - an11% increase as compared to 2016-17.
Security: For improving the security in the state with the help of modernization of police force - the budget had sanctioned Rs 1564 crore - 14% increase as compared to 2016-17.
For FY18, the Uttrakhand government had fixed total expenditure of Rs 39,957.79 crore, while revising the budget estimates for FY17 to Rs 32,049.06 crore - lower from previous budget estimates of Rs 40,422.20 for the fiscal. In 2015-16, total expenditure came in at Rs 29,583.77 crore .
While the Uttrakhand CM will be busy preparing for the state's budget 2018-19, it is being known that the opposition Congress has also geared up to counter the NDA government during the session of the assembly over the non-appointment of Lokayukta, naming Gairsain as a permanent capital, and the national highway 74 scam, among others.
In an interview to HT, chief minister Rawat said last week that a Lokayukta law “is redundant” in Uttarakhand as the BJP government was walking the talk on its anti-graft policy. “Where is the need for enacting a Lokayukta Bill when we have been effectively pursuing our anti-graft policy?” Rawat had said.For 2017 - 18, Uttrakhand government had decided revenue receipt at Rs 31593.09 crore, while also revising the estimates for fiscal year FY17 at Rs 25255.89 crore - lower compared to the actual estimates of Rs 32275.87 crore. In 2015 - 16, the state had recorded revenue receipt of Rs 21234.43 crore.

Rawat also highlighted that there are many announcements in FY19 budget, which are being initiated in Uttarakhand. The budget has been discussed to promote cluster based farming, organic farming, and cultivation of plantation plants.
