Sports technology startup Stupa Sports Analytics has secured Rs 28 crore in a pre-Series A round of funding, the company said in a press note today, May 15.

The fresh round was led by Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital. The company did not disclose the names of the other investors who participated in the round.

Stupa Sports Analytics specialises in AI-driven solutions that provide advanced analytics of player performance data, broadcasting capabilities, and sports digitisation tools. Their clients include athletes, sports federations, broadcasters, and fan communities worldwide.

The company plans to use the funding to hire new employees in AI/ML and engineering to develop advanced solutions for the sports-tech industry. The funds will also enhance Stupa's product offerings to cover a broader range of sports disciplines, including table tennis, badminton, pickleball, and padel.

Stupa Sports also plans to expand its global presence, targeting markets in the US, UK, Australia, and the Middle East, while strengthening its existing operations in Europe and Asia. The sports tech firm has previously raised Rs 7.5 crore in seed and pre-seed funding.
