India vs Australia Free Live Streaming, IND vs AUS Web Streaming: Team India will be going into the third ODI with their tails up — having already sealed three-match ODI series and looking to complete a shut-out — against Australia in Rajkot on Wednesday, September 27 at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. India won the series after beating the Aussies by 99 runs (DLS method) in the second ODI played on Sunday, September 24 at Indore. India entered into the match with a 1-0 lead after winning the first ODI match in Mohali on Friday.
Despite the absence of skipper Rohit Sharma and star players like Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, and Kuldeep Yadav in the first two ODIs, India comfortably beat the Australian side.
2nd ODI Recap: After losing the toss, the KL Rahul-led India side was put to bat by Australian skipper Steve Smith. In spite of an early wicket of Ruturaj Gaikwad, India managed to set a mammoth target of 400 runs in 50 overs, losing five wickets in the process.
Courtesy of two brilliant centuries by Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer, a fiery 72 off 37 balls by Suryakumar Yadav, and a well-made fifty by skipper Rahul, India managed to set this huge target. This was India's highest total against Australia in one-day internationals.
In the second innings, Australia lost two early wickets of Matt Short and Steve Smith in the first over of Prasidh Krishna. Australia fought back courtesy of David Warner's 50, but it was a small effort in climbing up the reduced DLS target of 317 runs in 33 overs after rain interrupted play for the second time.
India took command of the match with three quick wickets by Ravichandran Ashwin after play resumed. Ravindra Jadeja also chipped in with three wickets — with the spinners picking six wickets in total. In the end, Sean Abbott and Josh Hazlewood did manage to smash some balls out of the park, but it was all in vain. India bowled the Aussies out in 28.2 overs with 217 runs on the board, winning the match by 99 runs (DLS Method).
The third ODI will mark the return of skipper Rohit Sharma and star players Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya — making Team India an even more formidable side.
With their win in the second ODI, India will be going into the ICC World Cup 2023 as the ICC's No. 1 ranked ODI side, and with such form, fans can hope to see some great performances by India.
