ICC T20 World Cup 2024: Uganda added a feather in its cap of cricket achievements as the East African nation made the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 for the first time, beating Rwanda in the African region qualifier on Thursday, November 30. Namibia is the other team from the African region to secure its spot in the tournament, scheduled to be held in June 2024, with the West Indies and the United States as joint hosts. Zimbabwe's elimination was a shock as they had a good start to the qualifiers but could not sustain momentum.
