ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Prize Money: Before the World Cup started, the International Council of Cricket (ICC) revealed a USD 10 million total pot. Every participating team, regardless of whether it wins a single match, will receive a share of this money.
ICC ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 Prize Money: We are down to the last two of the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023, with India going against Australia in the finals of the 13th edition of the ODI World Cup. The teams will put everything into this last fixture to determine who will lift the coveted ICC ODI World Cup trophy and also cash in a whopping $4,000,000 (approximately Rs 33 crore) as the prize money.
The Men-in-Blue defeated the Kiwis on Wednesday, November 15, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai by 70 runs in Semi-final 1. Proteas on the other hand was defeated by the Aussies in Semi-final 2 on Thursday, November 16, at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata by three wickets.
Australia defeated India by six wickets in the final on Sunday, November 19, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, and was crowned the world champions for a record sixth time in the 50-over World Cup.
Before the World Cup started, the International Council of Cricket (ICC) revealed a USD 10 million total pot. Every participating team, regardless of whether it wins a single match, will receive a share of this money. The six teams—Pakistan, Afghanistan, England, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Netherlands—that were unable to qualify for the semis will receive an amount of USD 100,000 (approximately Rs 84 lakh) each. Moreover, for winning a league match, the team will get an incentive of USD 40,000 (approximately Rs 33 lakh).

The losing teams—New Zealand and South Africa—in the semifinals will get USD 800,000 each (approximately Rs 6 crore), and the runners-up in the final will get USD 2,000,000 (approximately Rs 16 crore). The winner of the ICC Men's World Cup 2023 will get a whopping USD 4,000,000 (approximately Rs 33 crore) along with the coveted World Cup trophy.
