DP World ILT20: Cricket enthusiasts were recently treated to a generous amount of humour and wit from a panel of legendary cricketers in a behind-the-scenes sneak peek video of the upcoming DP World ILT20.

The panel consists of former Pakistani pace trio — Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram, and Shoaib Akhtar — along with legendary Indian cricketers Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh, where fans were treated to a spectacle of wit and banter.

The highlight of the video was the laughter triggered by former Indian opener Virender Sehwag's cheeky declaration, “Tum sabke liye mai akela hi kaafi hoon (I am enough for all of you). " Sehwag's signature humour and quick wit left his fellow commentators in splits.

The affinity between these cricketing greats is expected to add to the entertainment of the second season of one of the biggest T20 cricket leagues in the world.

They are also part of the commentary panel for DP World ILT20, announced by ZEE Entertainment. The commentary panel consists of Rohan Gavaskar, Saba Karim, Nikhil Chopra, Vivek Razdan, Alan Wilkins, Simon Doull, Daren Ganga, Danny Morrison, and Niall O’Brien, along with former India captain Anjum Chopra as well as sports broadcasters Reema Malhotra and Natalie Germanos.

The tournament will start on January 19, 2024, with the defending champions, the Gulf Giants, going against the Sharjah Warriors in Sharjah. The tournament will feature six teams, with a total of 34 matches to be played across the UAE.

The DP World ILT20 will also feature some of the biggest cricketers in the world, including the likes of David Warner, Dasun Shanaka, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Sam Billings, David Willey, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Alex Hales, Tom Curran, Rovman Powell, Shimron Hetmyer, James Vince, Ambati Rayudu, Corey Anderson, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Trent Boult, Chris Woakes, and Martin Guptill.

The matches will be broadcast live on ZEE’s 10 linear TV channels and free-to-view streaming on the ZEE5 app and website. The commentary will be available in both English and Hindi.

DP World ILT20 is set to start on Friday, January 19, 2024, and end on Saturday, February 17, 2024.
