Commonwealth Games schedule India day 11, August 8: The last day of the Commonwealth Games 2022 seems to be a power-packed one as India athletes will be fighting for at least five Gold medals and one Bronze medal on August 8, 2022. At present, India is at the fifth position in the Commonwealth Games medal tally with 55 medals, including 18 Golds.

Badminton will take center stage as two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu will fight against Michelle Li for Gold in women’s singles. Similarly, Lakshya Sen will also fight for Gold against Ng Yong Tze in Badminton men’s singles, while Satwik and Chirag will go for Gold against Sean and Ben in the Badminton men’s doubles final on Monday.

In Table Tennis, Sathiyan will fight for the third prize against Paul Drinkhall in Table Tennis men’s singles. While Achanta Sharath Kamal, who has already pocketed 3 medals, will look to win his 2nd men's singles table tennis Gold.

Besides, the Indian men's hockey team will be fighting for Gold against Australia, which shall be the final event of the day for the country. Manpreet Singh's men, who won the Tokyo Olympics bronze, will look to win the country's first-ever Gold in men's hockey at the CWG.
