BCCI player contracts List 2022-23: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday, March 26, 2023, released the annual player contract for Team India (Senior Men) for the 2022-2023 season. The list of 26 players has been divided into four categories – A+, A, B, and C. These categories decide the pay of the players. Players in Grade A + fall in the pay bracket of Rs 7 crore, grade A in Rs 5 crore, Rs 3 crore for grade B and grade C with Rs 1 crore.

The list of the A+ category includes Indian cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja.

A total of 5 players are in the A category – Hardik Pandya, R Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, Rishabh Pant, and Axar Patel.

6 players are in category B – Cheteshwar Pujara, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Mohammed Siraj, Suryakumar Yadav, and Shubhman Gill.

Five players have been promoted from their previous category:

-Ravindra Jadeja has been promoted from Grade A (Rs 5 crore) to A+ (Rs 7 crore)

- Hardik Pandya has been promoted from Grade C (Rs 1 crore) to A (Rs 5 crore)

-Axar Patel has been promoted from B (Rs 3 crore) to A (Rs 5 crore)

-Suryakumar Yadav has been promoted from Grade C (Rs 1 crore) to B (Rs 3 crore)

-Shubman Gill has been promoted from Grade C (Rs 1 crore) to B (Rs 3 crore)

BCCI player contracts List 2022-23: Losers

Two players have been demoted– KL Rahul from category A (Rs 5 crore) to B (Rs 3 crore) and Shardul Thakur from Grade B (Rs 3 crore) to C (Rs 1 crore)

In category C, 6 players are newly added– Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda, Kuldeep Yadav, Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh, and KS Bharat.

Pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ajinkya Rahane and Ishant Sharma didn't get a fresh contract.
