Last season's champion, Chennai Super Kings, and Royal Challengers Bangalore, who are still waiting to get their hands on the coveted trophy, will be locking horns this Friday, March 22, at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Both teams share an intense rivalry in the IPL's history, where CSK has been dominating the battle by many miles. Both teams have faced off against each other 30 times, and CSK has managed to win on 20 occasions, with one match ending without any result.

In all those matches, the biggest win for CSK was back in 2011, when CSK defeated RCB to lift their second IPL trophy, and that too at the Chepauk.   Apart from that, CSK registered their biggest win in terms of runs in 2009, when they won the match by 92 runs during a league match at St. George's Park in South Africa.

RCB also had some big wins under their belt, one of which was a 37-run win in 2020 at the Dubai International Stadium, in which Virat Kohli smashed a brilliant 90 runs off 52 balls.

Here are all the details of head-to-head records between CSK and RCB in IPL—
