IPL Points Table 2024: The seventeenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) is going on in full-swing. On Thursday, May 9, Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) went head-to-head at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala. Both the teams - PBKS and RCB - delivered stellar performances and lit up the stadium, but RCB won the match by 60 runs. However, even after this victory, RCB led by Faf du Plessis could not improve its position. The team is still in seventh position on the points table with a net run rate of 0.217.

Punjab Kings, on the other hand, dropped one place. The team which was in eighth position before the match, has now been replaced by Mumbai Indians (MI). The Sam Curran-led side is placed ninth with a net run rate of -0.423.

According to the latest points table, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are holding the first, second, and third positions. 

In fact, the status of the remaining teams is also the same after the result of the PBKS Vs RCB match. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capitals (DC) are in the fourth and fifth positions respectively. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans (GT) are in the sixth and tenth positions, respectively.
