With two Indian players and three foreign players, RR has filled all of the available 22 slots with eight overseas players in total. Their most expensive buy was West Indian power hitter Rovman Powell, whom they bought for Rs 7.40 crore. 

The RR squad was already quite strong even before the auction, and it seems they picked up backup options in case of any injury. It will be quite interesting to see how they line up for IPL 2024. Sanju Samson will captain the side, and they have Kumar Sangakkara as their head coach.
