IPL 2023 Winner List 2023: MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) became the champions of the Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL 2023), winning the nail-biting final in a thrilling finish of TATA IPL 16. CSK equalled the record for the most IPL trophies at 5, beating defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) by 5 wickets on the reserve day in Ahmedabad after the target was revised in a rain-curtailed match. Chennai were facing a tensed situation as they needed 10 runs in the last two balls of the final over, bowled by Mohit Sharma. Experienced all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja hit a six and a four on consecutive deliveries to power Chennai to a title triump at the Narendra Modi Stadium today.

Earlier, B Sai Sudharsan slammed 96 runs in 47 balls as Gujarat Titans posted 214 for four after being asked to bat first. The target for Chennai was revised after a heavy downpour interrupted play at the beginning of their run chase. Davon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad gave Chennai a good start, and Ajinkya Rahane and Ambati Rayudu built on the innings, before Jadeja did the magic for his team.

With this stunning victory, CSK have equalled Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians' (MI) record of five IPL titles.
