The IPL 2023, that kicked off on Match 31, will culminate with the IPL 2023 final match on May 28 with the clash set to happen between the two challengers for the crown in Ahmedabad.

As per the announcement made by the BCCI, the TATA IPL 2023 playoffs will be played at Chennai and Ahmedabad, with the latter hosting the IPL 2023 final as well. The IPL playoffs and final match will be played between May 23rd and 28th, the schedule says. 

While the first of the IPL qualifier matches — Qualifier 1 — will be played on May 23 at Chennai's M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, the Eliminator will be played at the same venue on May 24.

Qualifier 2 and the TATA IPL final will be played on May 26 and 28, respectively, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

IPL 2023 Final Venue

Although the schedule for the IPL 2023 Playoffs and final hadn't been revealed, but the BCCI had already announced that both the IPL 2023 final and the opening game would be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The same venue will also host the Qualifier 2 of the playoff stage — which will be played between the winner of the Eliminator and the loser of Qualifier 1.

The Qualifer 1 and Eliminator will both be played at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium a.k.a. Chepauk Stadium, in Chennai.

And the other 11 IPL 2023 venues this year were — Lucknow, Mohali, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Jaipur, Mumbai, Guwahati and Dharamsala.

The Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2, Eliminator and IPL 2023 Final matches will begin at 7.30PM IST.

IPL 2023: Format

IPL 2023 followed the same format as last with the ten IPL teams being divided into two pools/groups. With the top two teams each advancing into the playoffs with a chance to play for the IPL 2023 winner title. 

IPL 2023 Group A - Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants.

IPL 2023 Group B - Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans.
