Voting to begin on April 19

The first phase of voting, covering 21 states and Union Territories, will be carried out on April 19. It will fill as many as 102 seats across Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jammu and Kashmir, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry.

The third phase of polling, to fill a total of 94 seats in 12 states and UTs, will take place on May 7. These constituencies are in Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, and Jammu and Kashmir.
